Architecture and Urban Festival”, that is realized by the Chamber of Architects of Turkey İstanbul Metropolitan Branch. The award-winning films were released at a ceremony on October 28, 2017.

The competition was submitted for 910 films from a total of 90 countries, on an international web page and directly. 61 films were short-listed from the 187 preliminary elections and granted to the screening program. Also 3 films were displayed as “special screening”. The screening program started on October 27 and ended on October 27. 9 different places were used for screening all around İstanbul.

The award-winning films are listed below:

Documentary Section

First Award: “Memorandum”, Jennifer Jara- Chile

Second Award: “Perween Rahman: The Rebel Optimist”, Mahera Omar- Pakistan

Third Award: “Shakespeare in Casablanca”, Sonia Terrab- Morocco

 

Animation Section

First Award: “The Organish Tree”, Amir Moein- Iran

Second Award: “Scale”, Emine Gezici- Turkey

Third Award: “The Box”, Merve Çirişoğlu Çotur- UK
